Goal: Convert a static HTML website into a custom WordPress theme.

Key Contributions:

• Built a bespoke WordPress theme from scratch, transforming the client’s static HTML site into a dynamic CMS-powered solution.
• Developed locally using Flywheel for efficient testing and version control.
• Refactored styling from vanilla CSS into clean, maintainable BEM notation.
• Replaced the outdated Owl.js slider with the modern Swiper.js, improving performance and usability.
• Implemented cross-browser compatibility and responsive design checks for consistent user experience.
• Managed the full deployment process, moving the site live and performing post-launch QA.

Outcome: Delivered a fully custom WordPress theme that gave the client full control over their content, modernized their website performance, and provided a scalable foundation for future growth.
